What would I do without my darlings and sweethearts? Who would I gossip with? Sigh, even the thought sends goose bumps up my spine. To show my obvious adoration for all the sweet and salted memories, I like inviting them over to my house and treat them with special preparations by moi!!
Unfortunately, even my brilliant sense of timing went for a toss on one such occasion. Rushing home late from work, my mind was working at double speed (which is saying something, since the normal speed is as fast as today’s internet connection*clap clap*). I had to prepare snacks for a party of 5, and everyone would start arriving in less than half an hour.
A gust of wind brought a Pizza Hut flyer into my focus. Rushing over the ingredients in my refrigerator, I quickly made a detour and bought freshly baked pizza crusts from a bakery store next to my house. Reaching over as fast as my razor sharp heels would allow, I gathered all the ingredients and put the first pizza to bake.
It was a toss-up at what got their eyebrows touching the hairlines, my fabulous appearance when they finally sauntered in, 15 minutes late, i may add, or the smell and site of ffreshly baked, homemade pizzas. *wink wink*
