Ok, so I won’t lie and take credit for the entire innovation this dish called for. After all, when it comes to matters of the kitchen, mothers trump daughters every time. So, this time when I went back home, my mother decided to surprise me with this quick recipe, which blew my socks away with its simplicity.
This bread dhokla, which took her fifteen minutes to assemble, and with only the ingredients at home, has the potential to be served in breakfast, as a tea-time snack and even as an appetizer at a party of close friends. Do check it out darlings so that I can tell my mother that yes, even today her cooking skills far surpass mine! Enjoy!!

• Bread pieces (cut into 4 squares each) - 4

• Rai dana – 2/3 tsp
• Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Neem patti – 4-5 leaves
• Salt to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
• Heat the oil in a pan and put the rai dana in the heated oil.
• Meanwhile, whip the curd in another bowl. Add the salt, haldi, red chilli powder and neem patti to the curd. Mix well.
