Crispy Delight Recipe - Quick Snack


Oohhh hello Dearies, I just found out an amazing bit of inside info on the culinary ongoings. Come closer now, won’t you. I definitely don’t want this bit of information to go out before we have made full use of it. So here it goes. Darlings, I have got it from the taste buds of the best chef s in the world (mothers, of course) that crisp is in, and the rest is standing out.

This definitely set my mind going. As the fast wheels set into motion, I discovered to my horror that my kitchen was ab-sah-lootely empty. Except for a lone potato and a packet of Lijjat Papad, which I like to munch on lone sole evenings, with the company of a Danielle Steele and a cup of hot chocolate, my sharp eyes could not spot anything.

So, I decided to pull my socks up, ok fine figuratively only, and went to work putting my mind to work. The result was, I can quite simply say, not bad at all. Try out the fruits of my creative mind sweeties, and do tell me what you have to say.

Crispy Delight

Ingredients

•    Lijjat Papad, cut into half – 1
•    Potato – 1
•    Salt – To taste
•    Red Chili powder – To taste
•    Oil, to fry

Method of preparation

•    Peel and mash the potato well.
•    Add salt and red chilli powder to the mixture.
•    Take one-half of the Lijjat papad and wet the sides well with water.
•    Make a cone with the papad half, put the mix in the same, and stick the sides well using water. It will take the rough shape of a samosa.
•    Meanwhile, put the oil on heating in a frying pan.
•    Put the crispy delight in the oil, and fry it for 10 sec. (Remember, papad fries very fast, so don’t burn it).
•    Eat hot and crisp.
