Diwali special : Fruit cream



Festival time!! And all I have requests for is to share some of the creations from my well known *ahem* sweet dish collection. See, I don’t often touch my sweet dish collection. The reasons are twofold. One, I don’t think it is fair to the rest of recipes of the world and secondly, I have to take care of my own figure.

But well. I decided to become generous during the festival season. So in addition to calling the electrician to hang out the lights as well as printing out a Rangoli photo and sticking it on the floor in front of my door, I decided to share a chosen few recipes with all you people out there.

Here comes one of the quickest and easiest sweet dish recipes that I have tried till date. Ok so it may not be a traditional Diwali sweet, but trust me, one taste of thjis delicious, quick, and easy to make fruit cream and all your objections would melt in its sweetness. Enjoy!!

INGREDIENTS:

•  Fresh cream – 200 gms
•  Apples (cut into small pieces) - 2
•  Oranges (Peeled slices) - 2
•  Bananas (Peeled and cut) - 3
•  Pomegranate seeds – 3 tbsp
•  Sugar – According to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

•   In a bowl mix the cream and sugar. Whip well.
•   In the serving bowl, mix all the fruits well.
•  Add the cream to the fruits and mix well.
•  Chill in the fridge for around 2 hours.
•  Garnish with fruit and serve chilled.
